My name is Brenton Wilson and I am an accredited Athletics Australia Level 4 High Performance Coach, based at Nudgee College Track. I coach privately and not affiliated with any athletics club.
As a specialist hurdle coach, I have over 35+ years of involvement in athletics as an athlete and coach. This gives me a unique perspective on the requirements of young and elite junior athletes wanting to improve their speed and hurdling performance.
I have coached many hurdlers from juniors into elite junior athletes and progressing them into senior athletics. A strong technical model is important for any athlete to be successful in athletics no more importantly than as a hurdler.
It's important for the developing hurdler to have an experienced voice who knows how to guide the athlete and give them the right advice to help them achieve their athletic potential.
I have coached several state and national medalists and record holders in both female & male school age events.
For those new to athletics and those athletes who find they aren't making the progression in performance, or believe they're not realizing their potential, please feel free to contact me and discuss.

Jessica Speakman 100m Hurdles 13.87 (17 years); 300m Hurdles 42.89 (16 years)
