Thank you for taking the time to visit Wilson Athletics.
My name is Brenton Wilson and I have been involved in Athletics for nearly all of my life. I started in Little Athletics at 11 years of age, moving onto competing at Queensland Athletics in sprints & hurdles events at a national level.
I coach privately as my experience has found that club training is mostly impersonalized, where most athletes train in large groups with little or no individual attention. My squad has a maximum of 10-15 athletes at any time, who train on different days, so every athlete is treated like an individual, no matter their experience or ability and assisted to realize their potential.
Over the past few years, I have taken several junior athletes with no background in Hurdles to competing at State in National level winning medals and breaking records. These athletes are achieving these standards within 12-18 months of starting within my squad and continue to improve.
Wilson Athletics caters for athletes of all age groups and work on a year-by-year process to help develop and educate the athlete. Each athlete receives an individualized program based on their training age and experience. They also receive weekly video analysis and feedback by email on their weekly training.
Please explore the website for further information or contact me by email or phone to discuss your coaching requirements.
Training is at the Nudgee College Track on Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm. There is also a Sunday afternoon session from 3pm to 5pm, this is a hurdles specific session.
